Who can apply for a grant?
If you are aged 16 to 25 years old, and live in postcodes SA71 or SA72 and you are in education or an apprenticeship, you may be eligible to apply for grant aid funding with the Dr Jones Charity.
What can Grants be used for?
If you are eligible, grant aid funding can be used towards furtherance of your education. This can include;
- Fees
- Tools
- Books
- Travelling or maintenance expenses
Is there a deadline to submit applications for a grant?
Yes, the closing date for applications is the 30th September each year. Grants are awarded annually.
Do I have to pay back the Grant later?
No, you will not need to pay back the Grant at any point.
What if I formally lived in the SA71 and SA72 postcode area but have recently moved (within the last 3 years), can I still apply?
Unfortunately, you cannot apply.
